The goal of this paper is to determine the phenotypic variability of a number of grains and grain weight per spike of the twelwe durum wheat genotypes and to classify the genotypes according to their phenotypic similarity for the examined traits. Genotypes with the highest number of grains per spike were Belfugito, Vindur and Yavaros 79, while the Vindur, Durumko and Yavaros 79 had the highest grain weight per spike. According to the cluster analysis, there were several groups on the different hierarchical levels, regarding the examined traits.
