The simplified version of model is formed for choice of lawn mowers applied for maintaining the green surfaces in urban areas, based on: technical data about engine capacity, width of clutch, working speed involved and defined limitation factors of their productivity. Implementation in generally accessible program for processing of tabular data, mathematical model should serve as a tool for estimation of the productivity of existing versions of lawn mowers at theirs selection. Using of model formed on this way, with a possibility of its superstructure, the possible are: to economize considerable energy, to improve the mowing quality, extended time of exploitation the cutting device, alleviation of calculation steps and considerable increase of productivity in technology of maintaining the green surfaces in urban environments.
