In agro-ecological conditions of Banja Luka area (Bosnia and Herzegovina) has been performed analysis of yield and quality of fodder of perrenial legumes, grasses and clover-grass mixtures. Within this research has been determined botanical composition of mixtures and calculated energy value of dry matter of analyzed specias and mixtures. Three legumes have been chosen for testing (alfalfa, red clover and bird-foot trefoil), also four grasses (orchard grass, timothy, Italian ryegrass and perrenial ryegrass) and three mixtures (TDS-1MD, TDS-2MD, and TDS-4MK). During experiment the following quantitative parameters have been tested and analyzed: yield of green fodder, yield of hay, portion of legumes and grasses in mixtures, chemical composition of dry matter (raw proteins, raw cellulose, raw fats, raw ashes and BEM), and based to results of chemical analysis and coefficients of digestion energy value of dry matter was calculated.
