Compatibility of insecticides, fungicides and mineral fertilizers dependent on water quality in vegetables production: [Master thesis]
2006
Perovic, Z.
In this paper the results of investigation on physical and biological compatibility of insecticides, fungicides and liquid mineral fertilizers in binary and tertiary mixtures in water of two different quality (tap and phreatic) are presented. Physical compatibility was extressed as suspension, emulsion stability and dilution stability of aquas solution, surface tension and electric conductivity of single products and product mixtures. Biological compatibilities were assessed upon the phytotoxicity to sweet pepper (cultivars Vranjska, Krusnica, and Buketna) using Gar method of leaf picture. Insecticidal effects were estimated as effects on green peach aphids (Myzus persica) using method of immersion in spray liquid - suspension, emulsion or solutions - prepared of single products or their mixtures as field recommended concentrations. Biological compatibility was estimated as index of phytotoxicity (IF %). The data obtained indicated that the changes in suspension and emulsion stabilities were induced by partner product choice in tank mix, as well as by water quality. The consequences of those changes are increased phytotoxicity and reduced toxicity to target insects.
