Mineral and thermomineral waters in Serbia

The issue of thermomineral and mineral water usage in Serbia with analysis of current regulative is presented in this paper. Thermomineral springs on Serbia are covering an area of approximately 75.000 square km. Numerous thermomineral water sources make Serbia the richest in the thermomineral water resources on the Balkans. The analysis of hydrogeological and chemical characteristics of Serbian thermomineral waters has been done. All samples analyzed by AAS and ICP methods. Importance of Serbian health tourism lies on natural resources of thermomineral and mineral waters.
