Experiments were catrried out to study digestibility of crude protein, fat and nitrogen free extract in feed rations for minks (Mustela vison) with a different percentage of corn coarse meal as well as digestibility of nutrients in corn coarse meal. Digestibility of nutrients was determined by the method of balance substance digestibility. Experiment consisted of three stages. During the first stage animals were fed on control diet containing the least amount of corn coarse meal - 13.7%. In the second and third stages the content of corn coarse meal was increased to 18.2 and 25.7%, respectively, out of the original matter. The value of coefficient of crude protein digestability was 75.97% in 1st stage, 76.49% in 2nd stage 76.48% in 3rd stage. The digestibility coefficient values for fat were 92.53%, 92.18%, 91.29% and for nitrogen free extract 47.46%, 49.05%, 49.92% in the stages under investigation. The average digestibility of crude protein in corn coarse meal was 78.39%, of fat 90.52% and of nitrogen free extract 56.61%. Based on the results obtained, for agricultural practice we recommend a 25% proportion of corn coarse meal as the maximum in feed rations for minks.
