In stationary field experiment established in 1957, the effect of twelve fertilization treatments on grain yield was analysed in years 1994-1997, 2000 and 2003. In addition four levels of fertilization were formed: N0, N1, N2 and N2Mg. The highest average grain yield 5.48 t/ha was reached by treatment N3PK and the lowest one 2.62 t/ha on the check, without fertilization (liming only). The fertilization especially with nitrogen decreased the dependence of the yields upon the weather and soil fertility. The precipitations in 3.-7. months showed substantial more close in the relationship with grain yield as ones in 9.-12. months.
