Main objective of the present study is to assess the feasibility of rainmaking process. To evaluate its feasibility, the study can be divided into 2 parts. First, the amount of artificially-induced precipitation is estimated. Second, the feasibility of obtained precipitation amount is assessed. Various agricultural and hydroelectric generation benefits are considered. The upper Ping river basin upstream to Bhumiphol Dam is used as the studied area. Results have demonstrated that the estimated precipitation amount is reasonable. The rainmaking process for alleviating the dry spells during rice cropping season is feasible.
