One scientific-economic trial has been made with total of 12 growing up calves divided into 2 groups – control and experimental (with 6 calves in each group). The animals were analogically equalized by age, live weight and gender and they were reared free in boxes at semi-opened buildings. The animals from both groups were fed ad libitum with crude fodder (maize silage and alfalfa hay) and the concentrated mixture was limited up to 3 kg a day per head and it's nutritive value was: FUG – 1.18; XP – 163 g; PDI – 102 g; DM – 59 g. To the concentrated mixture of the experimental group was added 3g/kg of the 'Citrus Komorach 035641' aromatizer, half of it was added in concentrated mixture, and the other half – in maize silage. Quantities of the set types of fodder and their remnants were controlled daily, and the weight development of the calves was observed monthly. The trial continued 102 days. It was determinate, that the inclusion of the 'Citrus Komorach 035641' aromatizer in doses of 3g/kg mixture for growing up calves have a positive effect on the fodder intake, weight growth of the calves, fodder consumption for unit production and it's utilization.
