The chemical composition of three Basmi variety group oriental tobacco varieties is investiagated infected with supreme flower parasite broomrape (Orobanche sp.). The determined differences are established in percentage nicotine, reduced sugars, total and protein nitrogen, ashes content, macro- and microelements content in comparison to non-infected tobacco plants.
