A series of freeze-dried fuctional foods ELBY SPORT (Energy, Active, Super, Super D) was developed to address the needs of people of all age groups and sportsmen with continuous and/or intensive physical or mental load. The new functional foods are easily digested, lowlactose containing balanced bioproducts with pleasant taste and quaranteed ratio of the different ingredients. The biological value of the proteins included in the new functional foods ELBY SPORT is based on the presence of free essential amino acids and the chemical score of essential amino acids compared to the etalon protein of WHO. ELBY SPORT functional foods were clinically tested with athletes in different sports and with people who are engaged in active sport or computer work. The tests included people and athletes with different levels of load and at different stages of their preparation for sport events.
