The variation of agronomical and economical efficiency of fertilizers and the yields of cereal crops in relation to soil fertility and economic conditions of cooperative farms in Gomel region for period 2001-2005 are presented. Analysis of reasons preventing the realization of potential crop yields according to soil fertility indices and fertilizer used has been done. Effective application of fertilizers due to which 43% of a grain yield of crops are formed, has the high importance. As a whole in the Gomel area the recoupment of 1 kg NPK differed on years from 3,6 up to 5,6 kg of grain, and for the period 2001-2005 was of 81% up to standard established in field experiences. In the most favourable 2005 the productivity of grain and leguminous differed by groups of facilities from 13 up to 63 c/ha and a recoupment of 1 kg NPK - from 2,5 up to 12,1 kg grain. Productivity of grain was in authentic positive correlation dependence on size of a point of fertility, the content of mobile forms of potassium in soi, dozes of nitrogen fertilizers application, costs of material – financial inputs on 1 hectare of crop and in negative dependence on loading of harvested acreage on 1 combine. Changes of these factors explain up to 60,9% variations of productivity of grain crops in facilities. Purposeful change of the specified characteristics creates preconditions for fuller realization of potential of branch of grain husbandry
