For the first time a comparative assessment on the accumulation of organic acids, soluble sugars and phenolic compounds in the fruit of 10 Lonicera edulis varieties has made. It has been shown that the most promising varieties in the terms of composition of quality features are such features as Sinyaya ptitsa, Morena and Leningradskij velikan. These varieties had the highest C- and P-vitamin value of fruit, furthermore, the latter varies had higher content of phenolic carboxylic acids. The least promising in terms of gustatory and nutritive properties of fruit was the hybrid № 14. Varieties Goluboe vereteno, Priznanie, and hybrid N 6 are worth to be acknowledged the most saccharine among tested plants. The hybrid N 6 is perspective as catehins source as well. Hybrid 2-57-32, varieties Leningradskij velikan, and Morena (especially) are the most enreached by bioflavonoids. They possess the highest accumulation both catechin and flavonoids. The content of titrated acids in dry matter content in fruits has made 24-26%, ascorbic acid - 1200-1300 mg/100 g, soluble sugars - 15-16%, including their dominating fructose fraction - 10-11%, biovlavonoids - 2200-2700 mg/100 g, including their basic components: catechins - 800-990 mg/100 g, flavonoids - 1550-1680 mg/100 g, phenolic carboxylic acids - 620 mg/100 g
