[Tendencies of beef production in Belarus]

The beef cattle husbandry of Belarus is one of the major branches of farm - production to which the significant role in maintenance of food safety of the country is allocated. Last decade development of branch of cultivation and fattening of cattle having significant advantages in comparison with other branches, is accompanied by slump in production of the beef, the livestock of animals caused by reduction and decrease of daily average additional weights. Researches testify, that reduction of livestock of animals on cultivation and fattening in the agricultural organizations has taken place substantially owing to the reduction of the basic herd of cows forming a contingent of young plants, and growth of their barrenness. Important value in development of beef cattle husbandry is allocated to a number of macroeconomic factors. So, essential influence on a condition of branch rendered a pricing policy on the agricultural production, creating long time conditions for priority development of grain branch. In result the problem of intrabranch disproportions of the prices, resulted to losses has been generated by beef production, having lowered, thus, motivation of commodity producers. Intrabranch disproportions of the prices have started to smooth out gradually only in last years. The further development of branch sees in amplification of a role of intensive factors of production alongside with realization of the state measures favorable to effective managing
