Research results of the investigation of influence of the intensity of chemical protective and seed-growing measures on quantity and quality of seed potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus were presented. The following complex of protective measures was realized: double treatment with fungicides + treatment against aphides + single negative selection; fivefold treatment with fungicides + fourfold treatment against aphides + triple negative selection. Treatment against late blight was realized with the help of the following fungicides: tanos (2 times per 0,6 kg/ha); trajdeks (1,5 kg/ha), sherpa (0,48 l/ha). In the process of reproduction there was noted the accumulation of secondary viral infection in potato plants. The reinfection level depended on biological peculiar properties of the variety, number and migration of aphides – virus transmitters. Elite reproduction varieties Skarb were affected by latent viral infection in 12% of cases, Sante varieties – in 20%, Vytok varieties – in 30% in the conditions of potato cultivation without protective measures. Realization of the complex of protective and seed treatment measures promoted the localization of viral infection up to 1,3-2,2 times, lowering of quantity of affected by late blight tubers up to 1,7-2,8 times, yield increases up to 29-40%, seed tuber yield per hectare up to 13,2-21,0%, propagation coefficient of Sante variety increases up to 8,0, of Skarb varity – up to 9,4 and of Vytok varity – up to 6,7
