At millet cultivation on sod-podzol soil on green mass the system of fertilization N90+30P40K90 allows to receive maximum productivity of green mass 489 c/ha and receiving feed protein units 69,0 c/ha. Application of mineral fertilizers into the specified doses has allowed to receive green mass with optimum zootechnical indicators and amino acid forage structure. Economic remove of elements of feed depending on system of fertilization has made: nitrogen - 80,2 - 143,5 kg/ha, phosphorus - 25,1 - 45,4, potassium - 147 9 – 256,8, calcium - 11,2 - 18,7 and magnesium - 22,1 - 37,4 kg/ha. The maximum values of economic remove are noted in a variant with application N90+30P40K90. In optimum variant on productivity standard remove of nitrogen with 1 t of millet green mass has made - 3,0 kg, phosphorus - 0,9, potassium - 5,4, calcium – 0,4, magnesium - 0,8 kg. Research results have shown, that at increase in a dose of mineral nitrogen the content of crude cellulose increases by 1,08-1,74% in comparison with variant without nitrogen application, that is a little more than optimum value for a diet of large horned livestock, but does not exceed the maximum value. At application of trace elements on the background of mineral fertilizers some decrease in the content of cellulose in green mass of millet is noted
