Investigation of the influence of soil substratum, its temperature regime and variety specification on the regeneration properties of high-bush blueberry Vaccinium x covilleanum But. et Pl. (V. corymbosum L.) cv. Earlyblue (early - ripening); Bluecrop (mid - ripening); Coville (late - ripening) softwood cuttings in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus was realized. Investigation results showed that the regeneration capacity of softwood cuttings depended on the blueberry variety and terms of cutting. Influence of type of substratum on the rooting ability of blueberry cuttings was insignificant. The highest percentage of cuttings survival rate of Earrblue variety was on peat substrate mulched with sand, Bluecrop variety – on pure peat and Coville variety – on peat and sand mixture. Total sprout increment cultivated on pure peat was higher than on the other substrates (in Earlyblue variety – on 2-6%, in Bluecrop variety – on 12% and in Coville variety – on 10-12%). Subsoil heating did not exercise substantial influence on rooting ability of softwood cuttings. The highest rate of cuttings survival was stated for Coville variety (60+/-2%). Cuttings survival rate for Bluecrop was 45+/-3% and for Earlyblue - 26+/-1%
