Salmonella have a wide circulation among calves in unsuccessful economy of Belarus. Infected animals makes from 25 to 91% and the average 67,4%. For bacteriological research the pathological material from 132 calves from 8 economy, unsuccessful by mass gastroenteric diseases has been subjected. It was shown that isolated cultures had morphological, cultural, enzymatic and antigenic characteristics typical for Salmonella. Most often causative agents of salmonellosis are serological variants of S.dublin (42,7%), S.enteritidis (23,6%) and S.typhimurium (21,3%). Using methods of strain selection of Salmonella, which include isolates cloning on colonies structure and shape, antigenic structure, agglutinability and virulence 3 strains of S.dublin, 1 - S.typhimurium and 2 - S.enteritidis, suitable for vaccine against calves salmonellosis production were selected
