A new live dried vaccine against porcine erysipelas on Konev matrix test series and dilutant has been developed. The new vaccine and its dilutant meet the active production requirements. Porcine erysipelas is one of the most widespread illnesses in Belarus. The basic action for prophylaxis and illness liquidation is carrying out the active specific prophylaxis. With this aim a number of biological products, including delivered from abroad is applied in Belarus. The most widespread use for immunization of pigs against porcine erysipelas in the republic was received by the deposited vaccine which production is done in conditions of the Vitebsk Biofactory. However use of the given biological product quite often leads to occurrence in a part of the imparted animals the postvaccinated complications and not always provides at them formation of the intense immunity. It is substantially connected with for the first, that Konev matrix used for preparation of the deposited vaccine, possesses residual reactogene properties; secondly, in the course of biological product storage there is a decrease in viability of erysipelatous bacteria and their concentration in vaccination dose. In this connection, an actual problem in the field of prophylaxis and liquidation of porcine erysipelas at pigs is working out of new means of specific prophylaxis due to erysipelatous cultivation of bacteria on the optimized nutrient mediums, allowing to increase an output of a final product, and working out of the way of drying and rehydration of erizipelotriks of viable microorganisms providing preservation of vaccinal strain during more long time
