[Perfection of means of active specific prophylaxis of bovine pasteurellosis]

Analyzing epizootological situation on infectious diseases in Belarus it is possible to draw a conclusion, that thanks to activity of veterinary services, it is supervised. Pasteurellosis taking the third place after colibacteriosis and salmonellosis by quantity of unsuccessful points takes place in number of the most widespread diseases of cattle in Belarus. Morbidity and lethality of animals at given illness are in direct dependence on volume and quality of spent specific prophylaxis. Understanding the importance of these actions, within 2007 it was planned to vaccinate 673100 animals against pasteurellosis. Despite carrying out of mass specific prophylaxis annually in the republic from 61 to 126 points unsuccessful on this disease in which falls ill from 934 to 2550 animals have been revealed. Immunogenic and epizootological efficiency of emulgated vaccine against bovine pasteurellosis produced on a modified medium with a fine emulgation has been corporately estimated. Working out a new domestic preparation against the given disease gives the chance to refuse from import of foreign means, to save currency means, and, to the full, to use a reserve for production increase to lower both disease and death of animals as much as possible. The use of the developed compound in pasteureilosis affected farms allows to reduce the morbidity rate from 17% to 9%. the use of semi liquid formalhydrooxidealiminium vaccine from 17 to 12% accordingly
