[Evaluation of land suitability for sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria) in Ondo-ondolu Batui District, Banggai Province (Indonesia)]

This research was executed in March-May 2000 at HPH PT. Palopo Timber Co. countryside of Ondo-Ondolu Village, Batui Sub District, Sub-Province of Middle Banggai Sulawesi Province. Land analysis was conducted at Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of Tadulako University, Palu. This Research was aimed to evaluate according to farm of sengon in HPH PT. Palopo Timber Co. Ondo-Ondolu village, Batui Sub District of Banggai Sub-Province. Research used in this research execution was survey method by using free system (tactical). Based on the result analysis data of concerning characteristic of climate and class land; land suitability for the crop of sengon in research area class of according to marginal (S3) which exist in Farm Map (SPL) broadly 55.690 ha. At Set Of Farm Map (SPL) was generally limited by factor of rainfall constrictor. Some constrictor factor such as drainage class, textur landground, pH and root deepness represent the constrictor factor which seldom be met.
