An experiment was conducted to determine the effects of different lighting program on sex maturity age, egg production, performances and hatchability of native turkeys of Tatar station. Thus 400 female and 80 male turkeys were selected randomly at the age of 17 weeks. They were assigned and transported to two houses (first and second), including four boxes (50 female and 10 male turkeys in each box). Turkeys received (7L:17D) and (14L: 10D) lighting programs by 36 weeks respectively. After 36 weeks turkeys of first house, were transferred to four houses (1,2,3 and 4) in 16 boxes but turkeys of second house, were transferred to 12 other boxes in three houses of them (2,3 and 4). They received (12L:12D), (14L:10D), (16L:8D) and (1L:3d) by 66 weeks in four houses respectively. Intensity of light was one-foot candle in 17-36 weeks and 50 foot candle in 36-66 weeks of age. The time of light changed gradually as far as possible. There were no significant differences in age of maturity between two schedules. Feed conversion ratio (FCR) differed significantly between 7 treatments and the largest FCR was in (7L:17D) in growing period and then 1L:3D in production period group and other six groups hadnandrsquot significant differences from each other.
