This study was carried out in order to examine the breeding and ecological compatibility and compare the efficiency of manual feeding with the economical productivity and pasture conditions in turkey breeding. About 300 turkeys from domestic breeds approximately of the same weight and same age (6-8 weeks) were bought from state turkey breeding station located in Arsbaran, Eastern AzarbaijanAttention: and were carried to animal and pasture research station of Margoon in Yasuj. The weighting and numbering operation was done there. Through re-weighing they were divided in to 5 groups within 5 different levels feeding. This experiment was carried out in a completely randomized design. The first group: The breeding was arranged in pasture and 100% of consumption feed was as manual feed. The second group: The breeding was arranged in pasture and 75% of consumption feed was as manual feed. The third group: The breeding was arranged in pasture and 50% of consumption feed was as manual feed. The forth group: The breeding was arranged in pasture and 25% of consumption feed was as manual feed. The fifth group: The breeding was arranged in pasture without any manual feed and it is worth mentioning that the Rations of manual feed were based on NRC (table 1994). The experiment was carried out within a period of 110 days during which the turkeys were weight once every 20 days. The comparison of average weight from 40 days to the end of the test was signification (p0/01). The reason for this difference was in the distribution of the manual feed amount which caused the change in growth speed and gain of groups. The results show that by 3 turkey breeds in 5 above – mentioned feed groups and breeding in animal and pasture research station of Margoon was economical. A group without manual feed and the once which used less manual feed were economically suitable.
