To evaluate reaction of winter rapeseed in drought conditions and determine of physiologic indexes related to drought resistance selection in rapeseed this experiment conducted with 20 treatments in Ardabil Agricultural research center farm (Moghan) of Iran during 2002-2003and 2003-2004with 3 Replication and experimental design was RCBD. Two separate experiments were done. First in Normal irrigation condition and second with dry condition with only one time irrigation after planting. During growth season some physiologic traits as cell membrane stability, leaf water content leaf EC at flowering date, and some morphologic traits like, yield, height, No of pod per plant, 1000 seed weight, No of seed per pod, flowering period and maturity date recorded. In the end of every year, statistical Analysis conducted and after two year combined analysis conducted and mean comparison done with Dunkan test. The results showed that: Drought resistance has very large effect on grain yield, pods filling , No of pod per plant, plant height, and maturity date also, drought stress can due to increasing of EC, through cell membrane damage and Ion leakage between cells spaces and large decreasing of cells water content. Also showed that, Researchers can use these physiological Methods for screening of genotypes at primary levels for drought resistance with this explain that: More resistance genotypes to drought stress during growth season have less EC, more leaf water content and more cell membrane stability. Final results showed that, Hyola 401 and Owerka and Herald and Darmoy cultivars respectively have the highest yield grain in stress condition and ceres and VDH8003 and gyder have the lowest grain yield in such condition.
