About 15% of Iranian lands are affected salinity. Species of chenopodiacea family, such as Atriplex canescens is special for planting in this area. This research was conducted during 1373 to 1383 in Nowdehak rangeland station of Qazvin province. The goal of this research was youthful and favorite planting density of Atriplex canescens. The statistic design was split split plot (using on CRBC) with three replication. Main plot was density (2×2, 4×4, 6×6 meter), sub plot was pruning period (anuual, binnial, triennial) and sub sub plot was hight pruning (control, complete pruning, 20, 40, 60 centimeter). Result showed planting density and pruning had significant effect on forage yield (P0.01). planting density 2×2 m had higher yield than others treatmens. Complte pruning and pruning 20 cm had no difference respect of yield but were higher than other heatments. Triennial pruning preiod was better than anuual and binnial praning priod in respect of forage yield. Generally result showed that in this area and similar zone planting, distance (2×2m) with triennial pruning and complete pruning. Extra youthful maintenance, had maximum hay yield.
