In this research, quality and quantity characters of 30 recently produced sugar beet hybrids that were developed from crossing of resistant sources (W1009 and W1010) with monogerm and multigerm male strile lines were compared wity resistant and susceptible checks in different filed trials. The filed trials were conducted in experiprents with 20 and 12 (year 2005) as well as 20 and 13 (year 2006) treatments, in two naturally beet cyst nematode (BCN) infested farms (khorasan and west Azarbaijan provinces) as well as a non – infested farm (Karaj). Re productive factor (RF) of BCN was also estimated. The treatments were evaluated for BCN in greenhouse conditions. The results of trials showed that among treatments, The genotypes 231*(MSC2*W-1009), 231*(MSC2*W-1009)-2 and 231*(MSNB1*W-1009)*FC709-2 had a similar or higher sugar yield than the resistant checks (Nemakill, Paulina, Anema). The genotypes 231*(MSNB1*W-1009) and 231*(20447*W-1009) had lowest RF among the treatments. In the greenhouse conditions, The genotypes 27082, 27088, 27059, and 27077 had the lowest number of cyst per plant. Considering the results, It seems that selection of individual resistant plants could be useful for increasing frequency of resistant gencs, hence, development of polinator and female parents will be possible.
