The main wheat – production system in dry lands consists of wheat – fallow rotation whereas, every year waste lands of the province (more than 200 thousend hectars) being left as bare fallow, that is the largest part of the country&rsquos lands. Therefore replacement of one productive crop with fallow system is highly important. In addition, propere crop – wheat rotation can prevent soil from erosion in bare lands and it reduces weeds and pest and diseases. It also improves soil physical properties and increase water use efficiency (WUE). In order to study of different crop rotation systems in dry lands of Kurdistan province this experiment conducted in RCBD design with 9 treatment and 3 replications for 6 years. The results of 6 years wheat crop cycling showed that: wheat – conservative fallow treatment had higher yield (921.5 kg/ha) but it has not high economic profit.Wheat-chickpea rotation ,with 881 kg/h,has been located in second class. The minimum yield belong to annual alfalfa. It should be mentioned that a severe drought period has been accured in three last years of experiment duration. Regarding all agronomic and economic aspects of crop production methods it is suggested to replace chick pea instead of black fallow in rotation by wheat, Especially in normal years ,related to precipitation (the years without drought tention). Otherwise,in drought periods, fallow with conservation operation is recommended.
