Kumquat is ever-flowering. And it blooms 4 to 5 times per year. It is general bloom time the end of June late in August. Things important in order to carry out farming under glass of the full ripeness kumquats are the following things. That is, it is fruiting certainly the 1st flower which bloomed early in July. However, this time has much fall of the fruits by a physiological cause. Therefore, there is a problem that the orchard where the 1st fruits do not fruit occurs. In order to hypertrophy fruits and to increase the number of the large fruits of moreover after covering vinyl to a house in autumn when it fruits after the middle (2nd fruits) of July, the cultivation techniques described below are effective. That is, it is making daytime temperature into 27-28 degrees C, and making temperature higher 2-3 degrees C than the minimum temperature of the time night. Moreover, the fruits which fruited in the second half have the low rate of incidence of dry juice sac. Therefore, the degree of citrate becomes high. It is also possible to make citrate low early and to bring maturity of fruits forward according to the effect of warming of autumn. However, the fruits which fruited first have early coloring. Therefore, hypertrophy of fruits is not expectable. On the contrary, dry juice sac and overripe fruits is promoted. Moreover, the effect which brings forward promotion of hypertrophy and maturity of fruits is accepted only by raising daytime temperature. Therefore, it is not necessary to raise temperature night. Therefore, it is effective in cost reduction.
