The seeds of four different varieties viz. Ajmari, NARC-l, NARC-II and Williunls-82 were treated at (300, 500 and 700 g/acre). The number of nodules/plant, plant height, number of pods/plant, number of gains/pot and weight of grains difference between closes of per plant were observed at the time of harvesting. The results indicated inoculum and the control responded poorest performance to all other three inoculation doses, case of number of nodules/plant, plant height, number of pods/plant, number of gains/pot and weight of grains/plant respectively. The data for nodules per plant showed that the maximum number of nodules (2.75) per plant were observed in case of applying 700g/acre followed by 500g (2.67 nodules) and 300, (2.42 nodules). The maximum nodules (3.92) were recorded in variety Ill (NARC-II) followed by (2.83 nodules) in case of variety II (NARC-I). The highest plant (14.25) were observed in case of applying 700 g/acre followed by 500 g and 300 g (14.17 inches). The maximum height of plants (16.50 inches) was recorded in case of variety III (NARC-II) followed by variety II (15.25 inches), williums-82 (11.92 inches) and (Ajmari) (13.00 inches). Maximum number of pods (25.33) were counted with 700 g/acre of inoculum followed by 500 g with 25.17 pods per plant and (300 g) with 24.17 pods. Maximum pods (33.75) were recorded in (NARC-II), (NARC-I) by producing 27.33 pods. Williums-82 gave (16.75) pods per plant while (Ajmari) produced (19.92 pods). The results for number of grains per pod shows highly significant differences between the doses and varieties used that maximum grains per pod (3.00) were obtained at all inoculum level (300, 500 and 700 g/acre). Variety III (NARC-II) found to be the best, with (3.83) grain per pod followed by variety II (NARC-I) (3.17 grains per pod). Maximum weight of grains (12.94 gm/plant) was recorded by applying 700 g/acre of inoculum followed by 500 g (12.86 gm/plant). 30 0 g (10.38 gm/plant) weight. The highest weight of grains (NARC-II) followed by (NARC-I 13.56 gm/plant). The results showed highly significant difference between the dose and varieties used at LSD P less than 0.05. It is concluded that the number of nodules/plant, plant height, number of pods/plant, number of grains/pod and weight of grains different between doses of per plant were observed at time of harvesting. It is evident that the growth, yield and root nodule formation increased due to the increased in quantity of dose. In case of varietal response the variety-3 (NARC-II) surpassed the variety-I (Ajmari) variety-2 (NARC-I) and variety-4 (Williums-82) by 3.92, 16.50, 33.75, 3.83 and 18.70, in number of nodules/plant, plant height, number of pods/plant, number of grains/pod and weight of grains (gm/plant).
