HPLC technique was used to determine azoxystrobin, the active substance of many plant protection formulations. Azoxystrobin was extracted from plant samples with ethylene acetate. The extract was purified on the SPE Envi-18 columns and analysed on the Nucleosil 100-5 C18 chromatographic column. Satisfactory statistical parameters of the method were obtained: the relative standard deviation below 10 percent (in all cases), the mean recovery from samples above 80 percent. Limit of quantitation of the method was found as 0.05 mg of azoxystrobin per kg of analysed sample
