Structural elements of the effective market strategy designed for seed and plant raising companies as fundamental links of the agricultural seed system were presented in this work. In reference to seed companies, the principles of forming the long-term and favourable relations with customers and other participants in the market were formulated as the basis for relational marketing. The rules of proper customer service were defined as the crucial factors moulding the seed-purchasers loyalty. It was recommended to make use the world-wide information network internet in the seed branch
