The aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of varied mineral fertilization (79, 158, 237 kg NPK/ha) on yielding, yield components and health of naked (Rastik and Cacko cv.) and hulled (Antek and Cwal cv.) varieties of spring barley and oats cultivated in pure and mixed sowing. Fertilization at the rate of 158 kg NPK/ha significantly increased the grain yield as compared to other levels. Dose of 158 kg NPK significantly elevated the spike (panicle) number in relation to the lowest fertilization rate. Hulled barley in pure sowing formed more spikes (panicles) than other varieties in pure sowing and inter-species mixtures
