In a pot experiment two soils of different granulometric composition and different content of total and sulphate sulphur were used. Diverse doses of sulphate and elemental sulphur were applied, sulphate sulphur in the form of Ca SO4 H2O and elemental sulphur as fertilizer Wigor S-90. Fertilization of first doses S1, S2 sulphur applied on very light soil, which contents less total and sulphate sulphur, lead to yield increase of mustard, but the highest dose caused significant reduction of yield. The applied fertilization of sulphate and elemental sulphur increased uptake of this element significantly by mustard cultivated in both soils and also narrow N:S ratio was noticed by the plant
