The aim of study was estimation the effect of differentiated frequency of cutting and nitrogen fertilization on birds-foot trefoil participation in meadow sward. In spring 1993 on greatly simplified species compositioned object, where Dactylis glomerata and Bromus inermis were dominated in the sward was made complementary seeding using Lotus corniculatus seeds. Sward was cutted 3-times and fertilized with nitrogen in dose: 0, 60, 120 kg/ha. The results showed, that frequency of sward cutting not essentially influenced yielding. In two variants were similar productive effects obtained. The first was nitrogen fertilization, the second - cutting frequency
