The field experiment on winter wheat's varieties reaction to herbicides were carried out during 2003-05. Following cultivars were included in this study: Zyta, Sukces, Tonacja, Clever, Kobra and Pegassos. Tested herbicides were used in the highest recommended doses. Plants of winter wheat cultivars were sprayed two times: in the autumn - at the stage of 2 leaves and in the spring - at stage of tillering. The following grain quality properties were recorded: seed grading, weight of hectoliter, weight of 1000 grain, protein content and sedimentation index. Grain yield did not differ among tested cultivars, although varieties: Sukces, Clever and Kobra slightly tended to yield loss after herbicide application
