The field experiments were carried out in four replications in split-plot design in 2001-03. Following active ingredients were estimated: tribenuronmethyl (Granstar 75 WG) and mecoprop + MCPA + dicamba (Chwastox Trio 540 SL) at recommended rates (3/3) and at two reduced doses (2/3, 1/3). The first factor in this experiment was sowing rate of spring wheat: 400 and 250 grains per square m. The second factor included 6 combinations - untreated plots and 3 herbicide doses applied in two times: at the beginning and the end of tillering stage. The results indicated that there were no significant differences between herbicide rates. Different doses of active ingredients did not influence on weight of 1000 grains. Tribenuron-methyl and mecoprop + MCPA + dicamba bad profitable effect on protein and wet gluten content and on the Zeleny's index
