Management of game population in hunting grounds of the Hunting Association of Serbia

In Serbia, management of hunting grounds is performed by different users of hunting grounds. The highest of hunting grounds (90%) is managed by Hunting Association of Serbia through its hunters associations. This paper presents the results of management of the most economically important game species populations (roe deer, wild boar, hare, phesant and Grey partridge) in the hunting grounds of the Hunting Association of Serbia, as well as implementation of Serbian Hunting Development Programme 2001-2010 in the area of management of the mentioned game populations.
