The theoretical aspects of nontariff restrictions on foreign trade, their compliance with the GATT of 1994 are given. The application of the quantitative restrictions by the leading WTO members and Russia, the activities of the Russian customs within the framework state regulation of the foreign trade are investigated. Special focus is made on implication of the quantitative restrictions on the development of some segments of the consumer market of Russian Federation. The perspective tendencies of imports and exports quotation and licensing of with eye on the further development of the domestic market are suggested. The book is recommended to professors, post-graduates and students of economical higher schools.
