The main purpose of this work is, therefore, to point out the possible conditions that our forest ecosystems will face during global warming, and the kind of activities we can take, based on the research of air temperature changes tendency and precipitation quantity in the region of Serbia. The analyses carried out by using the sliding trend for the annual air temperature in Serbia show the fact that there have been the periods with a dominant negative and those with a dominant positive trend. According to some data from the period of 1951-2005, territorial division of summer air temperature tendency shows that average summer air temperature has been rising for more than 1 deg C during 100 years on more than 2/3 of the Serbian territory. The analyses obtained by using sliding tendency show that the annual amount of precipitation in Serbia has been declining in Serbia during the last 55 years. The decline intensity is 5% of normal for 50 years. With reducing length of the given series, the mark and intensity of the tendency are charged. In the series shorter than 25 years positive tendency values of the annual amount of precipitation have appeared. The beggining of the period of rising air temperature in Serbia has been followed by period of reduction of annual amount of precipitation.
