The effect of some new fertilizers on yield, chemical composition and wine material (WM) quality from the grape Merlo was under study. The fertilizers (Boroplus, Nitrofoska foliar, Nitrofoska solub, Fetrilon combi) contained macro- and microelements. The experiments were held in Temruk district (Krasnodar region) in the conditions of leached chernozems in 2005 year that was favorable for yield maturing and in 2006 that had a cold winter without snow. In 2005 the maximal saccharinity of grape juice was 23.4 g per ml in the variant with Fetrilon Combi and in 2006 it was lower (21.8 g per ml ); in the other variants the saccharinity of 2006-yield juice was higher than in 2005. The acidity of juice practically did not change. The maximal phenol compound content was in the WM of 2006 under Boroplus applying and in the WM of 2005 under Nitrofoska foliar. The WM of 2006 had the raised content of all organic acids after the grape tolerating of cold stress. The fertilizers had positive effect on the content and composition of aromatic compounds. The organoleptic estimation showed that the best among WM was the variant with Nitrofoska foliar (the mark for 2005-yield was 7.8, for 2006-yield was 8.0). The WM for the variant with Boroplus had the point 7.7 (2005) and 7.8 (2006), for Fetrilon combi had the point 7.7 (2005) and 8.0 (2006). It is concluded that the trial fertilizers promoted getting grape Merlo yield and WM of high quality in unfavorable years.
