This paper presents two-year results of weed control by the herbicides pendimetalin, prometrin, dimeten-amide and linuron in nursery production of oak seedlings. To widen the impact spectre on a greater number of weeds, herbicide combinations were applied instead of individual herbicides. The researched herbicides had a satisfactory efficacy on the present weeds. The variant dimetanamide-P + linuron, in both years of research, caused slower emergence of oak seedlings, as well as the retarded growth in the initial phases of development for about 5% to 10% compared to control plants. In the later observations, the symptoms of chlorosis disappeared and the plants developed without visiable changes.
