The paper studies the effect of applying different doses of slow disintegrating fertilizer Scotts (Osmocote Exact) of the formulation 15:9:9:MgO + Me to the quality of impatiens seedlings. The impatiens seedlings were produced in poly-styrene containers (speedling system) and poly-propylene pots (pot-system). During the seedlings production, the fertilizer was added in different doses (0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 g/l). The obtained results have shown that the dose of 4 g/l of fertilizer significantly influences on the qualitative features of the impatiens seedlings.
