Some new genotypes from the Agritec linseed collection are described. Inheritance of yellow-green shoot mutation was characterized. Genetic analysis confirmed two-alleles monogenic determination of the leaf and stem colour. Allele controlling yellowish shoots is recessive to allele for standard, green shoots. Genetic resources of Oidium lini resistance in linseed were found. French variety Jupiter is completely resistant to Oidium lini but very sensitive to Alternaria linicola. Chinese linseed line K 88-12 gave O. lini and A. linicola-resistant combination after crossing with Atalante. Lines with significant changes in fatty-acid composition of seed oil were detected after mutagenesis. High-yielding lines resistant to Oidium lini and Alternaria linicola were detected in field trials. Negative correlation between Oidium lini and Alternaria linicola were proved in high-linolenic and low-linolenic breeding lines.
