The analysis of potato cultivars (26) of different origin and breeding level was based on the intergene DNA polymorphism. Techniques of inter-retrotransposon amplified polymorphism (IRAP) and retrotransposon based insertion polymorphism (RBIP) were used to determinate potato cultivars genetic distance and/or simmilarity respectively.
