[Effect of different rates of the insectofungicide Prestige on the yield and the level of wireworm damage of potato tubers]

Results of the experiments, carried out at the Rivne State Agricultural Research Station in the course of the years 2002—2004, as regards to studying the effect of the insectofungicide Prestige on the crop yield and level of damage of potato tubers by wireworms (elaterid larvae), are given. It is found out that, while treating potato tubers with Prestige prior to planting, their crop yield and quality are improved, the level of wireworm damage of potato tubers of the varieties investigated is lowered.

Наведено результати досліджень, проведених на Рівненській державній сільськогосподарській дослідній станції протягом 2002—2004 рр., щодо вивчення впливу препарату престиж на врожайність та пошкодженість бульб картоплі дротяниками. Встановлено, що при обробці бульб картоплі перед садінням протруйником престиж врожайність і товарність збільшуються, пошкодженість бульб картоплі досліджуваних сортів дротяниками зменшується.
