[Effect of fertilizing systems on yield and quality of potato in crop rotations of the Polissya [Forest zone of Ukraine]]

Studied is the effectiveness of short-term crop rotations (a grain-tilled crop rotation and a grain-grass-tilled crop one) while growing potato of the variety Viryneya and winter rye and clover, rye, potato, maize for silage and oat with undersowing clover. Twelve fertilizing systems were being introduced. Experiments were conducted on sod medium-podzolized sandy loam soil. The potato reacted on changes in climatic conditions rather noticeably. The effect of the fertilizing systems on potato yield in is characterized in details. The fertilizers are found out to contribute to not crop yield only but quality indices of the tubers as well. Applying the fertilizing systems with biologization elements (manure, leys, straw) brought to positive effects on the starch output which reached 13.3-15.6%. While applying mineral fertilizers and combining thereof with manure, the maximum gain of starch was achieved. Biological factors of the fertilizing systems influenced positively also the ascorbic acid content. Manure application and combining thereof with a ley contributed to raising the vitamin C content. Thus, while comparing two- and five-field crop rotations and their fertilizing systems, the yield and tuber quality indices in all the variants of the two-field grain–tilled crop rotation were higher than in the five-field grain-grass-tilled crops one.

Ucranio. Досліджували ефективність короткоротаційних сівозмін (зерно-просапної і зерно-трав яно-просапної) з вирощуванням сорту картоплі Віринея та жита озимого і конюшини, жита, картоплі, кукурудзи на силос та вівса з подсівом конюшини. Запроваджували 12 систем удобрення. Грунт – дерново- середньопідзолистий супісщаний. Картопля досить істотно реагувала на зміни погодних умов. Детально характеризуеться вплив систем удобрення на врожайність картоплі. Установлено, що добрива зумовлювали не лишеврожайність, але й якісні показники бульб. Застосування систем удобрення з елементами біологізації (гноєм, сидератами, соломою) позитивно впливали на вихід крохмалю. Він становив 13,3-15,6%. Максимальний приріст крохмалю досягнуто за внесення самих мінеральних добрив та поєднання їх із гноєм. Біологічні чинники систем удобрення позитивно впливали також на вміст аскорбінової кислоти. Внесення гною і поєднання його із сидератом сприяли збільшенню умісту вітаміну С. Отже, при порівнянні дво-й п яти пільної сівозмін і їхніх систем удобрення показники врожайності і якості бульб картоплі у всіх варіантах двопільної зерно-просапної сівозміни були вищими, ніж у пятипільній зерно-травяно-просапній.
