Investigation on the rabbit kidneys cell cultures creation and their sensitivity to viral agents of some animals

Some trials of cell culture got from 20-35 of age rabbits kidneys were carried out. Primary cultures and sub cultures at different passage levels were obtained. One of the cultures originated of 20 days rabbit, ZB-8, reached to the 52 passage. Comparative trials for the rabbit myxoma, bovine herpesvirus 1, goat herpesvirus 1, swine herpesvirus Aujeszky and equine arteritis viruses cultivation were examined on the primary and passage rabbit kidney and other cell cultures. Good viral agent's affinity to the obtained kidney cultures was established. This allows those cell cultures to be used for diagnostic and investigation purpose.
