The maintenance of the main soil parameters at the optimum level is essential for the development of alfalfa root system and for receiving good agricultural results as yield of fresh and dry biomass. The goal of the present study is to analyze the changes of the soil physical parameter of Haplic Chernozems, loamy, under the different soil tillage systems applied to alfalfa. The results show that there are dynamic changes in the values of the Haplic Chernozems soil physical parameters. At the beginning of the experiment the soil moisture content at the 30-35 cm soil layer under the moldboard plow is the highest but during the last two years of the experiment the highest values were observed under the soil loosening where the soil moisture distribution through the soil profile are more uniform. At the end of the experiment the soil bulk density increased at the deeper soil horizons 30-40 cm. The values of this soil parameter for deferent soil layers were lower in the variant with shallow soil loosening.
