The object of the investigation is a seed propagated form of black chokeberry, introduced from Ukraine. Its biologic and economic characteristics have been studied - phenological observations, bushes height and width, number and diameter of the main stems, number of the shield-shaped racemes per stem and berries per raceme, berries weight, average yield and chemical composition of the berries. On the basis of the average values a plant model for a bush growing in the certain climatic conditions has been built. The bush is high 184.50 cm and wide 165.34 cm x 154.72 cm in the two directions as the main stems are about 26 (26.48 ones). There are 35 (35,17) racemes per main stem and 18 (18.67) berries are set on a raceme as each berry weights 0.76 g. The actual yield per bush is 4.06 kg, while the potential one is 13.214 kg. The duration of the vegetation period is 195 days.
