A field trial with 10 sunflower hybrids was carried out on cinnamonic forest soil in the experimental field of the Institut of Melioration and Mechanization in Chelopechene, Sofia region, in 2006 – 2008. Sunflower hybrids were growth under non-irigated conditions realized ba two irrigation tehnicues drip irrigation and micro sprinkler. The meteorological conditions in the period determined the number of irrigations and the irrigation and seasonal depths for the crop. On average, highest yields were recorded for the variant -drip irrigation in 2008. The largest increase in yields under irrigation was recorded in the year 2008, which was extremely dry. The lowest increase in yields under irrigation was recorded in 2006, which was moderately wet.
